Mark Lipclicks - Bare Hug & Hot Stuff

I have a slight obsession with lipsticks, so I knew I had to try out the lipclicks by Mark Cosmetics.  Mark has two lines of lipclicks called Full Color and Color Shine.  Full Color lipclicks are described as being a pigmented lipstick that also is moisturizing to the lips.  On the other hand, Color Shine lipclicks are described as a less pigmented version with an added bonus of SPF 15.

I personally find both the Full Color and Color Shine very moisturizing and easy to apply.  They do not settle into the fine lines of your lips and both are very pigmented.  Full Color lipclicks only need one coat, while the Color Shine can be applied sheer or can be built up to an intense color.  If you are unfamiliar with why these products were named lipclicks, it is because of the unique packaging. The lid and base of the lipstick are magnetic, which ensure that they stay closed even if thrown in a purse.

Full Color - Bare Hug

Bare Hug is the nude lipstick of the Full Color Collection.  On my fair skin it is a little darker then I would have liked for a nude.  However, I think this would be perfect for medium to dark skin tones.  If you do have lighter skin, I find that this color is more of a brown nude that also leans slightly orange.  It is still a very nice color, but do not expect to receive a light concealer nude type of product.

Color Shine - Hot Stuff

MAC Viva Glam Cindy (TOP)  -  MARK Hot Stuff (BOTTOM)

Hot Stuff is the coral color of this collection.  I find that it is a bright orange toned coral.  This is a beautiful color for the summer and has the added bonus of containing SPF 15!  Since the above picture makes the lipstick look red, I have swatched it next to MAC Viva Glam Cindy so you can understand the true tone of the lipstick.
