After running out of my previous foundation and not having the time to drive to the closest Sephora or Ulta, I decided it was time to give the drugstore a chance. Since I had a coupon from the Sunday paper, I went ahead and purchased the Covergirl Natureluxe Liquid Silk Foundation.
This product contains 1 ounce of product in a squeeze tube form of packaging. Although many people prefer foundation with pumps, this is a fairly good alternative way to allow the customer to control the amount of product that comes out.
This foundation feels light on the skin, but still manages to act as a medium coverage product. It does have a light scent to it which I actually enjoy. However, if you do not like your face products to have a scent then this probably is not the product for you. I also suggest using the smallest amount of this product that you need because I felt that when I used too much it made me look older than I actually was. For the most part I enjoy this foundation and I find that it successfully covers the redness that I have on my face. It also contains SPF 10, which is always nice to have year round in your foundation. For the price I think it is worth trying, especially since there are usually coupons in the paper for the Covergirl Natureluxe line.
I purchased this foundation in the the shade Flax (310) which I believe is the second to lightest shade in the line. For reference I am around a NW 20 in MAC and I have pink undertones to my skin.
Full Size: 1 oz
Full Size Price: $9.74 at Target, but will vary by drugstore. ( Don't forget to check the paper for coupons!)
